64% of industry professionals surveyed by GuíaVerde ensures the continuity of your company is at risk due to the impact of the crisis of the COVID-19. This assertion is inextricably linked to another estimate, which made up 48% of the professionals, which indicates their volume of revenue will decrease in 2020 to between 50% and 75%.

One of the measures recommended by the administration and that has grabbed headlines and changed routines in many sectors has been the activation of telework to keep the activity. However, in the sector of the plant and the flower ornamental, as only 25% of the professionals who have responded to points that your company has implemented the employment at a distance, a consequence of the reality of this sector, with a greater importance of manual work, and the restrictions on the sale of their products to not be considered of first necessity, and the consequent cessation of the activity. Another figure that confirms more if it is this ?freezing? of activity in the sector: up to 88% of the respondents whose companies engaged in export notes that have not been able to serve their products normally.


Defaults and income

The survey has also asked about the situation of the ?box? of the companies. So, a 61% of the participants said that his business had unpaid directly attributable to the crisis of the coronavirus, and 68% of them acknowledge that they have had to defer payments to providers for the same reason. To the question of what changes will experience the company's revenues in the year 2020 over the past year, a 48% points that will fall between 50% and 75%, followed by those who believe ? with a 28%- that will fall between 25% and 50% ; and it will fall between 75% and 100%, representing 11.5% of the sample. Forecasts of future


GuíaVerde also question the industry on how they hope to develop the activity in the coming months. In this survey, GuíaVerde also question about the indicators of future, in terms of exports, sales in the national market, use of e-commerce, budget for communication and advertising, jobs, and assimilation of telework.
On exports, a 63% ensures that will be minor in respect of the period prior to the crisis, followed by 29% who believe that it will be the same. With respect to sales in the domestic market, the pessimism is rising, with 75% who believe they will go down; and on the use of electronic commerce, the majority, with 42%, says that it will be the same, although up to a 36% believe it will increase.
A 45% ensures that there will be less investment in advertising, and a 40% that your company will keep as before the crisis; and 59% believe that there will be a reduction of the template in your company with respect to the previous period, while 39% believe that it will remain the same. Finally, on the assimilation in the company's telecommuting, 58% believe that it will be as up to date.
