Catalpa is a round tree that reaches 12 m tall. Its leaves are purple in young specimens and turn pale green as they grow. Its white and tubular flowers are very decorative and bloom in early summer. The fruit of the catalpa looks like an elongated bean.
It is used isolated in the garden or to create walks for its fast growing and leafy canopy.
