The Bokashi composter is a system for the processing of organic waste at home. Through the application of fermentation bacteria organic waste is converted into a liquid and a mixture of fermented organic matter. The product resulting from this process can be used as fertilizer and top quality liquid for various domestic uses.

For fermentation, a mixture of special bacteria called Bokashi is added in dry form to the organic waste.

Unlike conventional composting, with Bokashi, the fermentation process is carried out without the access of air and with the help of living organisms that are activated by contact with the organic material.
