The main aim of Raiz da Terra its the propagation of ornamental plants through the process of cutting, making more than 3 million plants a year. And 70% of production is for export.


Sells the plants in plug and P8 pot., according to the order placed by the customer in advance.

Raiz da Terra is located in the North of Portugal and its main aim is the propagation of ornamental plants through the process of cutting. The company delivers the plant in plant trays or pots of 8 cm, according to the orders previously made by the client.

Raiz da Terra produces the plant according to the client’s needs, bearing in mind that the production must be ordered in anticipation, from one season to another.

At the moment Raiz da Terra produces plants in an indoor area of 2.0 ha and in an outdoor area of 1.5 ha, and mother-plants in 7.0 ha of land. It produces about 500 different varieties.
