FAIRS AND EVENTS
With the advancement of population vaccination and health security protocols, trade fairs finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. In 2020, cancellations and postponements were the order of the day and many events chose to convert themselves into virtual formats, of which there will still be a trace at this year's fairs.
The doors of the pavilions are finally reopening and the second part of this year will feature different face-to-face events in Spain and abroad. In the agendas of the Spanish professionals, they are marked in red on October 5, 6 and 7, when both Fruit Attraction and Iberflora will be held again at Ifema and Feria Valencia.
But these days the sector is already in Poland in ?Green is life? - Flower Expo Poland , and next week the Agro Global fair will start in the Portuguese municipality of (Santarém), the largest agricultural fair in the neighboring country, which it is celebrated outdoors, in the middle of the field. Also next week, starting on September 9, the Salon du Vegetal will take place, but in its digital format with free access television programs and webinars.
From September 14 to 19, Flowers Expo-IPM will coincide in Moscow and the Glee fair, a classic of the gardening sector in the United Kingdom, which is held in Birmingham. September will end with another virtual meeting, in this case GreenTech Live , and October will start strong, with Fruit Attraction in Madrid and Iberflora in Valencia.
Both fairs last year were committed to maintaining activity and offering professionals virtual content and exhibitors. As GuíaVerde has been publishing, in both events the expectations are very good and a very positive response is expected from companies and visitors in a year of great results for the Green Sector. Together with Iberflora, which turns 50, will be held Ecofira , the International Fair of Environmental Solutions.
At the end of October, from 20 to 22, the Spanish Association of Landscapers will hold its I International Congress of Landscapers at the Granada School of Architecture. Those same days in Colombia will be held the Fair and Professional Congress of Colombian Nursery , organized by Colviveros and the country's administration. November will be the month of other important professional meetings such as OPF Mexico , IPM Dubai and Paysalia , the French landscape, garden and sports fair.
