Training
The Floriculture Mastercourse program is organized by Jungle Talks and has the support of important companies in the green sector worldwide, such as Dümmen Orange , Koppert , Floramedia or AIPH .
It consists of a two-week immersive experience, where promising young people in the green sector between 25 and 40 years old have the opportunity to interact with other industry professionals to discuss the future of their respective companies and the sector as a whole. Each participant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in positions of responsibility in their company.
According to the organizers, the Jungle Talks Mastercourses have evolved over time. "When we started, the course focused on what happened inside the greenhouse. Optimizing growth, production, quality and yield. Shortly after, robotization and artificial intelligence were added to the program. In recent years, the relevance of floriculture in terms of its added value for society and consumers has become an issue that can no longer be ignored.
Jungle Talks selects its participants with strict criteria because "our students are the future leaders of the industry. They are (potential) revolutionaries, connectors and opinion leaders. They are not only in a position to lead the future of their company, but also of the sector as a whole".
The program will allow participants in the Floriculture Mastercourse to visit leading companies in the Netherlands and the Aalsmeer fair . In addition, they will have the possibility of competing for the AIPH Young International Producer of the Year Award . In fact, the Floriculture Mastercourse serves as a shortlist for this award.
